Invisalign takes a modern approach to teeth straightening, using a custom made series of aligners created individually for each patient. The aligners are made of smooth, invisible plastics that is worn over the teeth. This means that there are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. The aligners gradually and gently shift the teeth into place, based on the exact movements that are planned in advance.
How does Invisalign work?
Only a trained Invisalign provider can determine whether you are a suitable patient for Invisalign treatment. After examination, your Invisalign orthodontist presents to you the realistic expectations of what Invisalign aligners could do. If you are an eligible patient, than your accurate full-arch impressions will be taken and sent to Invisalign laboratory. Invisalign uses advanced 3-D computer imaging technology to manufacture a series of custom-made aligners created individually for each patient
Teeth movements are planned and determined from beginning to end even before the start of orthodontic treatment. The results are correctly aligned teeth without traditional braces.
